    REGULATION  LASER SAFETY (For U.S.A. only) This sewing machine is certified as a Class 1 laser product under the US Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Radiation Performance Standard according to the Radiation Control for Health and Safety Act of 1968. This means that the sewing machine does not produce hazardous laser radiation.
  • Page 14  IEC 60825-1:2007 (For countries except U.S.A.) This sewing machine is a Class 1 laser product as defined in IEC 60825-1:2007 specifications. This sewing machine has a laser diode which emits visible laser radiation in the Laser module. Do not disassemble the Laser module.

    SAFETY INFORMATION  CAUTION FOR LASER PRODUCT CAUTION: When the machine during servicing is operated with the cover open, the regulations of VBG 93 and the performance instructions for VBG 93 are valid. CAUTION: In case of any trouble with the Laser module, replace the Laser module itself. To prevent direct exposure to the laser beam, do not try to disassemble the Laser module.
