Use Quick Setup Wizard

The Quick Setup wizard will guide you through the process to set up your device.

Connect the Hardware

If you already have a modem or your internet comes directly from an Ethernet wall
outlet, you can set up the device to work as a regular router.
If your internet connection is through an Ethernet cable directly from the wall instead
of through a DSL / Cable / Satellite modem, directly connect the Ethernet cable to
WAN/LAN port on the AP device, then follow step 4 and 5 to complete the hardware
connection.
To switch to router mode:
1. Unplug your modem, and remove the backup battery if it has one.
2. Connect the powered-off modem to the WAN/LAN port on the AP device with an
Ethernet cable.
3. Turn on the modem and then wait about 2 minutes for it to restart.
