1. Food is placed only in the first drying rack, the other four are empty. Leave all 5 drying
racks inside the food dehydrator and make sure that the upper lid is always properly
positioned over the appliance.

CAUTION: After use, the food dehydrator will still be hot. Please ensure you let the unit
cool down before moving or cleaning the appliance.
FUNCTIONS
Hot air at fixed and adjustable temperature freely circulates inside the unit between the top and
bottom cover, the removable drying trays and the main unit. This allows the food placed in the
trays to be dried evenly without losing its nutritional properties and at the same time without
unhealthy additives.
You can also dry flowers or medicinal herbs and prepare cereals using this device. This
dehydrator is provided with a temperature controller: the below table is an indication of the
approximate drying temperatures.

HOW TO DEHYDRATE FRUIT
Dehydration of fruit
Wash the fruit.
Remove the pit from fruit and remove deteriorated parts.
Cut fruit in small pieces and spread it freely in the different drying racks.
If you want your fruit to smell pleasantly, you can add cinnamon or coconut.
Preparation of fruit to dehydrate
It is important to prepare fruit before dehydration as to preserve its natural color, taste and flavor.
Below are some useful recommendations for drying fruit:
• Take a quarter of a glass of juice (preferably natural). Try to use the juice of the same
fruit that you want to prepare. For example: for drying apples, use apple juice.
