Attaching stabilizer (backing) to the
fabric

Press the iron-on stabilizer material to the wrong
side (bottom) of the fabric.
Use a piece of stabilizer which is larger than the
embroidery frame being used.
a Fusible side of stabilizer
b Fabric (wrong side (bottom))
c Size of the embroidery frame
For details on using commercial stabilizer, refer to the
instructions included with it.
Inserting the fabric to the embroidery
frame (magnetic frame)
When removing or fitting the upper frame, be careful not to
pinch your fingers. Fingers may cause injury if they get
caught.

Hooping the Fabric in the Embroidery Frame
CAUTION
Separate the upper frame and the base frame.
The upper frame and base frame are attached with
strong magnets. Applying upward and downward forces
with your fingers in the upper corner of the frame will
make it easier to separate the frames.
Place the base frame on a flat surface. Place the
fabric with stabilizer attached on top of the frame.
Place the fabric right side up.
Place the upper frame on top.
Make sure that the fabric is taut.
Grab the upper frame and slightly lift up the frame to
confirm that the upper frame securely holds the
fabric without coming off.
