TROUBLESHOOTING

Before attempting to service or troubleshoot the pressure washer, the owner or service technician must first read
the owner's manual and understand and follow all safety instructions. Failure to follow all instructions may result in
conditions that can lead to voiding of the EPA certification or product warranty, serious personal injury, property damage
or even death.
PROBLEM
Engine will not start.
Engine suddenly stops
running.
Engine runs erratic; does
not hold a steady RPM.
No or low pressure.
Soap does not mix with
water spray.

WARNING
POTENTIAL CAUSE
Fuel shutoff valve (if equipped) is in the OFF
position.
Pressure washer is out of fuel.
Fuel flow is obstructed.
Unit is not properly primed.
Air filter is dirty
Oil level is low.
Spark plug boot is not fully engaged with the spark
plug tip.
Spark plug is faulty.
Fuel is stale.
Water in fuel.
If trying 1-10 above does not solve the problem,
the cause might be that the pressure washer has a
fault.
Pressure washer is out of fuel.
Oil level is low.
If trying 1-2 above does not solve the problem,
the cause might be that the pressure washer has
a fault.
Choke lever (if equipped) was left in the ON
position.
Air filter is dirty.
If trying 1-2 above does not solve the problem,
the cause might be that the pressure washer has
a fault.
Water supply is low.
Nozzle is obstructed.
Water filter screen is obstructed.
Water inlet is obstructed.
Inlet hose is kinked or leaks.
High-pressure hose is obstructed or leaks.
High-pressure hose fitting leaks.
If trying 1-7 above does not solve the problem,
the cause might be that the pressure washer has
a fault.
Soap siphon hose is not connected properly.
Soap siphon hose is obstructed.
SOLUTION
Move the fuel shutoff valve (if equipped) to the ON
position.
Add fuel to the pressure washer.
Inspect and clean fuel delivery passages.
Push primer bulb three times.
Check and clean the air filter
Check oil level and add oil if necessary
Firmly push down on the spark plug to ensure the
boot is fully engaged.
Remove and check the spark plug. Replace if
faulty.
Drain fuel and replace with fresh fuel.
Drain fuel and replace with fresh fuel.
Take the pressure washer to your nearest
authorized service dealer.
Check fuel level. Add fuel if necessary
Check oil level. Add oil if necessary.
Take the pressure washer to your nearest
authorized service dealer.
Move choke lever (if equipped) to the OFF
position.
Check and clean the air filter.
Take the pressure washer to your nearest
authorized service dealer.
Increase the water supply.
Clean the nozzle.
Remove and clean the filter.
Clear the inlet.
Straighten the inlet hose and repair leaks
Clear obstructions in the hose or replace the hose.
Tighten the fitting. Apply sealant tape if necessary.
Take the pressure washer to your nearest
authorized service dealer.
Insert the soap siphon hose properly into the soap
container.
Clear obstructions in the soap siphon hose.
