Solving Problems
Paper handling is inappropriate.
Solutions
Follow paper handling precautions.

Load new paper.
Static electricity is causing sheets of paper to stick to each other.
Solutions
Fan the paper before loading. If the paper still does not feed, load one sheet of paper at a time.

Do not load more than the maximum number of sheets specified for the paper.

Remove any paper that is loaded in the paper source before you reload the paper.
Paper Does Not Feed Properly from the Front Paper Feeder
Paper has been fed at an angle from the front paper feeder.

After inserting paper, make sure the railing edge of the paper is aligned with the line on the front paper
feeder.
Roll Paper Does Not Feed Properly
Front paper feeder opens when loading roll paper.
Solutions
Close the front paper feeder, and load roll paper.
