Verifying Devices are Installed
You can view the devices installed on your computer from the
Device Manager window in System Properties.
®
To access Device Manager for the Windows 98/Me operating
systems, right-click My Computer , then click Properties , and
the Device Manager tab.
For the Windows ® 2000/XP operating systems, right-click
My Computer , then click Properties , the Hardware tab, and the
Device Manager button.

adapter you have, expand the following:
