Maintenance
The Söll GlideLoc climbing protection system must be checked regularly, but at least every 12
months. Extreme environmental conditions (dirt, dust, chemical influences, temperature, UV
radiation) may require more frequent maintenance intervals. Please consult your local technical
support representative for advice.
Always make sure that inspection complies with manufacturer's instructions and the regulatory
requirements.

Inspections may only be performed by the manufacturer or an authorized per-
son or body.
Authorization can be obtained through training and regular updates by the
manufacturer.
The certificate obtained is valid for 3 years and entitles to carry out regular
inspections of Söll systems.
Important!
If the fall protection system has not been used for a period of more than 1 year,
an authorized person or body must inspect the system before reuse.
Danger!
A defective fall protection system, or a fall protection system that has been sub-
jected to stress as a result of a fall, is no longer approved for use and must be
taken out of service. It may only be used again if an authorized person or body
has approved further use in writing.
Warning!
Authorization for inspections does not include the authority to perform repairs.

Above and below the parallel switch, climbing locks are in place in place one each (see
Fig. 3).

Pay attention to the regularity and functionality of all elements before/during every as-
cent.

It is important to ensure that the guide rails are free of dirt.

All screw connections must be firm and secured, see section D.

Marking:
The identification plate is located at the entry points of the fall protection device.
It must always stay at its location and must not be removed.
