C Review and acceptance
When accepting, attention must be paid to the perpendicular positioning of the ladder/par-
allel switch. All screw connections, brackets to the structure, brackets to ladder spar are to
be checked. They must be tight and secured against releasing (see section D). Immediate-
ly above and below the parallel switch, an additional mounting bracket must be mounted
and the „upper" and „lower" climbing locks must be present (see Fig. 3). The carriage of
the parallel switch must be able to move smoothly and engage in the end positions.
D Screw connections, screw locks
For steel screws, the hot-dip galvanized screw lock is guaranteed by the delivered toothed
pulley.
For stainless steel screws, a self-locking special nut is used as the securing element.
