Different Points of Similar PCBs

1. How to set SPU (SPU-9211) Board
For use the SPU board in the MODEL 1932MK2 or 1942MK2, change the factory menu as below.
While pressing and holding down the GAIN (HM-OFF) control, press the [MENU] key five times
to display the factory menu.
The board comes with the setting for MODEL 1832 as maintenance parts when ordered.
1) MAX range
48nm: Model 1932MK2, 64nm: Model 1942MK2
2) Type
R: Regular, G: German, N: Netherland, K: Korea
Select R-type usually.
K-type is the same as R-type, but range ring is complied with IMO standard.
3) Model
Select either Model 1932MK2 or Model 1942MK2.
4) Language
JPN: Japanese ENG: English
5) Default Setting
Default settings (except factory menu) can be restored by selecting Default Setting and pressing
the [ENTER] key three times. Restart radar to restore default settings. After changing the
setting, the installation adjustment (heading, timing, etc.) must be carried out again.
2. MODULATOR board MD-7918 A/E
E version of MD-7918 is not compatible with A version. This is because E has a
larger pulse transformer
