Remove the front axle shaft, front wheel,

speedometer gearbox and side collar.
Avoid getting grease, oil, or dirt on the

disc or pad surfaces.
Do not pull the brake lever or push the

brake pedal while the front wheel is
removed.

Installation
Attach the side collar into the right side
1.
wheel hub and the speedometer gearbox
into the left side wheel hub.
Position the front wheel between the fork

legs and insert the front axle shaft from
the right side, through the right fork leg,
wheel hub and left fork leg.
Side collar
NOTICE
When installing a wheel or caliper into original
position, carefully fit the brake disc between the
pads to avoid scratching them.
Position the lug on the speedometer

gearbox against the stopper on the left
fork leg.
Install and tighten the front axle nut, then
4.
install the front axle nut cap.
Torque: 59 N·m (6.0 kgf·m, 44 lbf·ft)
