BREAKING IN A NEW MACHINE

Each machine is thoroughly inspected and adjusted at the
factory. However, it is important to correctly break in your
machine, following the table below:

First 50 hours
After the first 50 hours
Operating a new machine at full load without first breaking
it in can cause scratches and/or seizures, consequently
affecting the service life of the machine and its safe opera-
tion.

CORRECT BREAK-IN PROCEDURES

During the first 50 hours of operation:
1. Check the coolant level, engine oil level, and hydrau-
lic oil level, and check for leaks every day.
2. Service lubrication points regularly.
3. Tighten all accessible hardware regularly.
4. Check indicators and gauges often during operation.
5. Take care to warm up the machine properly, and to
operate the machine under 80% of full load.
6. Be sure that all sounds and operations of the ma-
chine are normal.
