POOL SETUP ( continued )
7.
Connect the "Inverted T" side leg end cap (9) to the side
leg (8) (see drawing 6.1). Push the side leg (8) downward
to ensure the "Inverted T" side leg end cap is fully inserted.
NOTE: The side legs (8) have a notch on one side of the leg.
Make sure they are not used as vertical corner legs (10).
Pull the restrainer straps out from under the liner. Stretch the
restrainer straps towards the matching sides support legs.
Hook the respective sleeves of the restrainer strap to the
base of the sides support legs (8) (see drawing 6.2).
8.
Connect the side legs (8) to the "T" joints (7).
NOTE: The side leg (8) simply fit snugly in the "T" joint (7)
without any pin. Make sure the "Inverted T" is aligned and
parallel with the pool wall (see drawing 6.2).
9.
If pool was purchased without a filter pump, use 2 of the
3 plugs provided and plug them into the optional black filter
pump outlets from the inside of the pool so water will not
leak out while filling.
10. Before filling the pool with water, ensure that the drain plug
inside the pool is closed and that the drain cap on the outside
is screwed on tightly. Fill the pool with no more than 1 inch
(2.5cm) of water. Check to see whether the water is level.
IMPORTANT: If the water in the pool flows to one side,
the pool is not completely level. Setting up the pool on
unleveled ground will cause the pool to tilt resulting in
the sidewall material to bulge and a potential collapse
of the pool. If the pool is not completely level, you must
drain the pool, level the area and re-fill the pool, following
the above directions.
Smooth out the remaining wrinkles (from inside the pool) by pushing out where the pool floor and pool
sides meet. Or (from outside pool) reach under the pool side of the pool, grasp the pool floor and pull it
out.
11. Fill the pool with water up to just below the sleeve line
(see drawing 7).
NOTE: The pool side walls and frame structure will lean
inward after having been filled with water to the
recommended level. Do not be concerned by the inward
leaning of the side walls, this is to accommodate the water
movement and pressure when the pool is in use.
Before allowing anyone to use the pool, hold a family meeting. Establish a set of rules that
include, at a minimum, the important safety rules and general aquatic safety information in
this manual. Review these rules on a regular basis and with all users of the pool, including
guests.
