GASOUNE • Fill fuel tank. Use fresh, clean, regular unleaded gasoline with a minimum of 87 octane.
PURGE TRANSMISSION _ILCAUTION: Never engage or disen- gage freewheel lever while the engine is running. To ensure proper operation and perfor- mance, it is recommended that the trans- mission be purged before operating trac- tor for the first time. This procedure will re- move any trapped air inside the transmis- sion which may have developed shipping of your tractor.

ACCELERATION TEST • Move throttle control lever from slow to fast position. If engine hesitates or dies, turn idle mixture valve out (counter- clockwise) 1/8 turn. Repeat test and continue to adjust, if necessary, gine accelerates smoothly. High speed stop is factory adjusted.
