min/max memory and to define the smoothing filter setting.

Automatic temperature detection (ATD) function*
This function serves to automatically detect the temperature during
manufacturing processes with discontinuous or intermittent material flow,
for example molten metal casting at foundries. First, define the sampling
time and the upper and lower temperature limits. These limits or thresh-
olds define the temperature range within which you wish to detect the
temperature. It is also possible to determine the average temperature
value over the course of multiple measuring cycles.
The start of a measuring cycle is determined automatically and is de-
pendent on the following variables.
