Check the touch screen (HMI) for errors and solve them if possible.
Check whether an error message appears on the HMI after opening the cabinet door.

Check the DC shutdown button (NOT during charging process)
Check whether an error message appears on the touch screen display (HMI) after pressing the
button.
Observe if the charger comes back to default function after the emergency stop button is re-
leased.

Disconnect the charger safely on its MCCB according to the 5 safety rules. Regarding the AC and
DC capacitors pay attention to the follow note.
Note: The DC capacitors may not be fully discharged after switching off the power supply. DC live parts remain under
dangerous electrical voltage for up to 10 minutes during discharging. AC live parts may remain under dangerous
electrical voltage until they are manually discharged. Touching the live parts can lead to death or serious injury.
Wait 10 minutes after switching off the power supply.
Heed warnings about charged capacitors
Make sure that the charging station and its parts are de-energized.
Only then should you start work on the charging station.

Check the exterior of the cabinet for visible damage, stickers, graffiti, etc.
Check the touch screen (HMI) for visible damage
Check the charging cable and plug for moisture, dust or corrosion
Check the position of the charging plug in the plug holder if applicable

Check the correct function of the cabinet door (lubricate hinges if necessary)
Check that the door locks and hinges move easily

Check the ventilation openings
Clean the grilles of fans and the air intakes
Check the air filters for the upper and lower fans and the air filters in the bottom cover of the
charging station. Clean or replace them if they are dirty
Check the indoor fans and clean them if necessary
Check the fans for any unusual running noises
Check fan for damages

Inspect inside charger ceiling, doors, grating, and cable bushings

Make a visual inspection of the cabinet for any damages of all components
9
Clean the interior if necessary
