    ASSEMBLY Install Auto-Empty Dock Connect the power cord to power input port on the rear of the dock and place the auto-empty dock on a flat surface. Ensure there are no other wires, cables, or other loose items around its vicinity. Ensure there is a 50cm clearance either side, and 150cm clearance in front of the auto- empty dock.

  • Page 16 Remove the Crash Protection Remove any protective material from the vacuum. Install Side Brush Attach the left and right side brushes (L, R) to the corresponding letter on the underside of the vacuum. There should be a clicking sound when each side brush is secured.
  • Page 17 Install the Mopping Pads and Water Tank Dustbin Attach the mopping pads to water tank dustbin. Install the water tank dustbin by pushing it in horizontally along the rear of the vacuum. You will hear a “click” sound when it is installed in place.

    BEFORE FIRST USE Checks to the area Ensure there are no loose wires or cables scattered on the ground. This is to prevent the vacuum becoming entangled or dragged along. Ensure all fragile items, those easy to topple, dangerous items, and valuables are removed. This is to prevent items being damaged and personal injuries.

    CONNECT TO SMARTERHOME™ APP Install App Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Play Store (Android) App Store (iOS) To register: If you already have a SmarterHome account, select ‘Log In’. To register a new account, select ‘Sign Up’.
  • Page 20 Set device in pairing mode When the device is first turned on, it may automatically enter pairing mode (both buttons are slowly flashing). If not automatically in pairing mode when powered on, you can manually set the device in pairing mode by pressing and holding the home and power buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds until they begin slowly flashing yellow.

    OPERATION Powering ON/OFF • Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, the indicators will illuminate and the vacuum will turn on and enter standby. • Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds while in standby, the indicator will turn off and the vacuum with shut down.
  • Page 30 Quick Map Use the app to quickly build a map, the vacuum will explore the house without cleaning and will automatically save the map after it is completed. The vacuum will return to the dock for charging. After the rapid map building is completed, the map can be manually partitioned and cut and different cleaning methods can be set for different areas.
  • Page 31 Selected-area Cleaning After the device cleans the whole house on the current map, the host will partition the scanned map environment according to the algorithm and the actual layout of the room. At the same time, users can name partitions, reset partitions, split and merge. Note: The selected-area Cleaning function can only be used after the construction of the mop is completed.

  • Page 35 Water Tank Dustbin and Filter After a period of use, open the cover on the dustbin. Remove the filter cover, filter cotton and HEPA filter and rinse them with clear water. Shake of the excess water drops after cleaning. Blow dry or air dry the filter cover, filter cotton and HEPA filter.
  • Page 36 Side Brushes The side brushes should be cleaned once a week. Turn over the vacuum and pull out the side brushes vertically. Use the cleaning brush to clear any dust, hair and debris, then reattach the side brushes. Press and reattach the left and right side brush (L, R) against the corresponding letters on the bottom of the vacuum.

Remove any dust, hair and debris from the rolling brush using the cleaning brushes. Replace the roller brush and press the roller brush cover to ensure it is securely in place.
