    ASSEMBLY Remove any protective material from the vacuum. Attach the left and right side brushes (L, R) to the corresponding letter on the underside of the vacuum. There should be a clicking sound when each side brush is secured. Install the Auto-empty Dock Place the auto-empty on a flat surface.

Open the plug and fill the water tank with clean water. Note: Do not add any detergents to the water tank.

Ensure all fragile items, those easy to topple, dangerous items, and valuables are removed. This is to prevent items being damaged and personal injuries.

    CONNECT TO SMARTERHOME™ APP Install App Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS). Play Store (Android) App Store (iOS) To register: If you already have a SmarterHome account, select ‘Log In’. To register a new account, select ‘Sign Up’.

  • Page 19 Adjust your connection method by tapping on the mode type in the top-right corner of the screen. Select “AP Mode” for the set-up type. Ensure that the device is in pairing mode, with the power and home buttons are slowly flashing purple, select “Confirm indicator is slowly blink” and tap “Next”. Follow the in-app prompts to continue AP Mode connection, which will pair your mobile phone to the device’s Wi-Fi hotspot to ensure a connection.
  • Page 20 The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the app. Ensure your Wi-Fi router, mobile phone, and the SmarterHome™ device are kept close until connection is complete. After successfully being added, you will have the option to rename the device and assign it to a location.

    OPERATION Powering ON/OFF • Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds, the indicators will illuminate and the vacuum will turn on and enter standby. • Press and hold the power button for 3 seconds while in standby, the indicator will turn off and the vacuum with shut down.
  • Page 28 Pausing Cleaning During cleaning pressing either the power or home button will pause the vacuum. • Pressing the power button while paused will resume cleaning. • Pressing the home button while paused will send the vacuum back to the auto-empty dock.
  • Page 29 Spot Cleaning Spot cleaning focuses on specific areas to efficiently clean up local messes or spills. • Using the SmarterHome app, tap “Pin N Go”, then you can specify the desired location on the map. The vacuum will automatically head towards that point and clean a 1.5 x 1.5m area.
  • Page 30 User-Defined Area Cleaning The vacuum features a User-Defined Area Cleaning feature, allowing you to define and specific areas or zones within your living space for targeted cleaning. This feature enables you to have precise control over the cleaning process and focus on specific areas that require extra attention.
  • Page 31 Scheduled Cleaning Scheduled cleaning can be set up using the SmaterHome app. • From the settings menu, tap “Timer”, then you can setup the times you wish the vacuum to automatically clean. The vacuum will start cleaning automatically at the appointed time and return to the charging base after cleaning.     CLEANING & CARE Rolling Brush The rolling brush should be cleaned once a week. Turn over the vacuum and press the release tab on the Rolling brush cover to remove out the Rolling brush. Remove any dust, hair and debris from the rolling brush using the cleaning brushes.
  • Page 34 Side Brushes The side brushes should be cleaned once a week. Turn over the vacuum and pull out the side brushes vertically. Use the cleaning brush to clear any dust, hair and debris, then reattach the side brushes. Press and reattach the left and right side brush (L, R) against the corresponding letters on the bottom of the vacuum.
