How to set the parameters in the V-Chip menu.
Function
Description
V-CHIP
This enables(ON)/disables(OFF)
the settings in the UNRATED
PROGRAM, TV RATING LIMIT,
and MOVIE RATING LIMIT.
(Note: this option will be ON after
the TV has been turned off then
on).
UNRATED
This allows the viewer to view or
block unrated programs.
PROGRAM
TV RATING
This allows the user to block or
view certain TV program ratings
LIMIT
assinged by the NAB.
MOVIE RATING
This allows the user to block or
view certain movie program
LIMIT
ratings assigned by the MPAA.
CHANGE
This allows the user to change the
V-Chip menu password.
