CONNECTION OF WIRE FEEDERS WITH CONTROL
CABLE (14 PIN)
Shut off welder before making any electrical connections.

• Shut the welder off.
• Set the "WIRE FEEDER VOLTMETER" switch to either "+" or "-"
as required by the electrode being used (See Figure A.2).
• For electrode Positive, connect the electrode cable to the "+" termi-
nal of the welder and work cable to the "-" terminal of the welder.
For electrode Negative, connect the electrode cable "-" terminal of
the welder and work cable to the "+" terminal of the welder.
• Set the "MODE" switch to the "CV-WIRE" position.
• Adjust the "ARC CONTROL" knob to desired Crispness. SOFT for
MIG and CRISP for Innershield.
• Set the "WELDING TERMINALS" switch to the "REMOTE
CONTROLLED" position.
• Set the wire feeder voltage switch to 42V.
• Connect the 14 pin control cable from the wire feeder to the
engine drive (See Figure A.3).
• This procedure can be done for both "Single" and "Dual"
operator modes.
