2. NORMATIVE AND SECURITY
MEASURES
2.1. USERS
This machine has been designed to be used by adults
who have read and understood the instruction manual.
Attention! Do not allow underage people to use
the machine.
Attention! Do not allow people who do not
understand the instruction manual to use the
machine.
Before using the machine familiarize yourself with the
machine making sure you know perfectly well where
all the controls can be found as well as all security
devices and how all these should be used. If you are
not an expert user we recommend you start with some
simple jobs and if possible, under the supervision of
an expert user.
Attention! Only lend this machine to people who
are familiarized with this type of machine and know
how to use it. Always lend the instruction manual
with the machine so that the new user reads it and
understand it prior to carrying out any work. This
machine is dangerous in untrained hands.
2.2. PERSONAL SECURITY
Be alert and vigilant and use common sense when
using the machine.
Avoid the inhalation of exhaust fumes. This machine
expels dangerous gases such as carbon monoxide
that can cause dizziness and even death.
Do not use the machine when you are tired or under
the influence of drugs, alcohol or medicines. One
moment´s distraction can cause serious personal
injury.
Never use this machine without the security
elements.
Remove all tools from the working area before
starting the machine. Any tools left in the working
area can be touched by any moving part of the
machine and be hurled causing personal damages.
Do not touch the exhaust of the machine or the
engine when stopping the engine. The exhaust will
be hot some time after turning the engine off. The
machine heats up when functioning and will remain
hot for some time afte r stopping the engine.
2.3. WORKING AREA SECURITY
Maintain the work area h adequate light. Work areas
that are untidy or dark will cause accidents.
Do not use the machine in explosive atmospheres
or in the presence of inflammable liquids, gases
and powders. To avoid fire hazards, make sure the
working area is well ventilated and that the working
area is clean and that there are no strange elements
within 1 metre of the machine.
Never start up the machine in closed areas such as
rooms and garages. This machine expels dangerous
gases through the exhaust that will accumulate in the
area and since they are toxic, they could represent a
danger to the end user, to other people, animals and
plants that are indoors.
Maintain underage children and other people well
clear whilst the machine is functioning.
