Setting sounds

You can select the sounds for system alerts, alarms, games, and sound on/
off during operations.

From the upper right of the dropdown list on Prefernces
screen, tap the General.

Tap the System Sound dropdown list and select the desired
sound level or off.
Ratating off the System Sound also tuns off the chime tones used
during HotSync operations.

Tap the Alarm Sound dropdown list and select the desired
sound level or off.

Tap the Game Sound dropdown list and select the desired
sound level or off.
The Game Sound setting works only with games that are programmed
to respond to it.

Turn On/Off the Beam Receive

You can turn the Beam Receive on or off .
If you turn off the Beam Receive, you cannot receive data using Beam, but
you can conserve the Sony handheld battery.

On the Preferences screen, select General from the
dropdown list in the upper right corner.

Tap Beam Receive dropdown list, and select On or Off.
• On: Rotates "On" the Beam Receive.
• Off: Rotates "Off" the Beam Receive.
