5. If necessary, see "Installing adapters" on page 14 to remove any adapters that
impede access to the Virtual Clear CMOS/BIOS Recovery jumper (JP14).
6. Move the jumper on JP14 from the NORMAL position to the ROM
RECOVERY position.
7. Replace the cover and connect the power cord. See "Replacing the cover and
connecting the cables" on page 21.
8. Restart the computer, leave it on for approximately 30 seconds. When you
hear beeps, hold the power switch for approximately 10 seconds to turn off
the computer.
9. Repeat steps 2 through 4 on page 22.
10. Move the jumper on JP14 back to the NORMAL position.
11. Replace the cover and connect the power cord. See "Replacing the cover and
connecting the cables" on page 21.
12. You will need to reset passwords and the BIOS date and time settings.
