13 Troubleshooting

Contact our hotline if the actions listed
below fail to rectify the problems or if
other problems not listed here occur.
Problem
Coffee only emerges
from the outlet in drips.
Coffee does not flow
through.
Grinder does not grind
coffee beans.
The Refill beans display
flashes although the
2-chamber bean con-
tainer is full.
Loud grinder noise.
Brewing unit cannot be
inserted after removing.
System error appears on
the display.
Cause
Grinding fineness too fine.
Appliance soiled.
Appliance is covered
inside with limescale.
Water tank not filled or
inserted incorrectly.
Brewing unit clogged.
Coffee beans do not drop
into the grinder.
"Bean Select" tilt lever is
positioned vertically.
Coffee beans are too oily.
Foreign object in the
grinder.
Coffee beans do not drop
into the grinder. Insuffi-
cient ground coffee beans
in the brewing unit.
Foreign object in the
grinder.
Brewing unit is not cor-
rectly locked.
Drive is not in the correct

Set a coarser grinding fineness (see sec-
