Controls - Collecting Grass (PGC & Net)

PGC

The Powered Grass Collector (PGC) is mechanically
engaged via a pulley belt driven by the rear tractor
PTO clutch.
Before attempting to engage the PGC ensure the
tractor engine is running and throttle is set to 100%.
The PTO switch (fig. 33) must be set to position 0
(disengaged). Engaging the PGC before attempting
to start the tractor will prevent ignition.
Engaging Rear PTO & PGC Accessory
1. Select either PTO & Deck (Option A) or PTO
Only (Option B) on the dashboard display (fig.
34).
WARNING: READ CUTTING GRASS SECTION
BEFORE ENGAGING DECK FEATURES.
2. Pull the PTO switch (fig. 33) to position 1 to
start the PTO clutch.
3. Lower the PGC to the collection position using
the PGC lift lever (fig. 35).
Disengaging Rear PTO & PGC Accessory
1. Push the PTO switch (fig. 33) to position 0 to
disengage the PTO drive belt.
2. Raise the PGC to the travel / net empty
position using the PGC lift lever (fig. 35).
PGC Net Empty
(fig. 36)
To empty the net:
1. Push the PTO switch (fig. 33) to position 0 to
disengage the PTO drive belt.
2. Raise the PGC to the travel position using the
PGC lift lever (fig. 35).
3. Extend the PGC net tipping lever, then rotate
the lever forward to the seat (fig. 36).
4. After successful grass trimming ejection place
lever in original position to reset mechanism.
