Troubles
The handwheel

Case
Corrective measures
• Lubricate the hook, strongly turn the
handwheel clockwise and counterclock-
wise several times, then remove the
thread caught in the hook.
• Set the stitch length to an appropriate
amount.
• Set the drop-feed knob to "FEED".
• Turn the presser foot pressure regulator
to in crease the pressure properly.
• Turn the handwheel or press the needle
up/down switch to bring the needle to its
highest position.
• Attach the needle properly.
• Slightly turn the handwheel by hand to
the opposite side (opposite to the direc-
tion at the time of sewing).
