Bleeding of the hydraulic clutch*

To bleed the hydraulic clutch, demount the lower manifold and the right
main silencer. To demount, remove the 2 screws
cover.
Remove the manifold by detaching both springs
To remove the main silencer, remove screw
towards the back.
Remove the cover from the clutch's master cylinder.

and cover
Extract the oil from the reservoir.

Fill the bleeder syringe
(available from your KTM dealer) with SAE 10
biodegradable hydraulic oil (e.g. Shell Naturelle HF-E15). Loosen the blee-
bk
der screw
on the slave cylinder and attach the hose on the bleeder
syringe. Add oil with the bleeder syringe until the bubble-free oil starts to
bl
leak out of the hole
in the master cylinder. Make sure the oil does not
overflow. Correct the oil level in the reservoir and mount the cover.
Biodegradable hydraulic oil is available from your KTM dealer in 50 ml cans.
