Fabric of printed T-shirts becomes
discolored and uneven over time
Clean the press surface of the heat press.
For some types of dark colored T-shirts, the dye
component of the fabric may stick to the press
surface during pressing. If you press a white or
light-colored t-shirt when this has happened, the
dye component attached to the press surface
transfers to the T-shirt and then reacts with
perspiration or sunlight causing it to discolor.
If you want to press different colored T-shirts, use
one of the following methods.
Place release sheets on top of and under the
T-shirts.
Use new sheets or use them according to the
color of the T-shirt.
If you have placed cloth on top of and under
the T-shirt, place the sheets in the positions
shown in the illustration.
If you have placed cloth on top of and under
the T-shirt, replace it with new cloth or use a
different cloth according to the color of the
T-shirt.
Clean the press surface.
For details on cleaning the press, see the
manual supplied with the heat press.

The printer status and log are
printed over the edges of the paper
Are you printing with an M size platen?
Depending on the paper size the print area may
extend beyond the edges of the paper if it is loaded
on an optional platen. Load paper on the M size
platen, and then print.

Printing is slow or stops half way
Is the head move direction set to
uni-directional?
Print Direction may be set to Uni-Direction (Low
Speed) in Garment Creator 2, the software for
the printer. Try setting the Print Direction to
Bi-Direction (High Speed) in Garment Creator 2.
When doing repeat printing or to print a job from
a USB memory stick that has already been set to
Bi-Direction (High Speed), Head Move Direction
may be set to Uni-Directional on the preview
screen. Try changing the setting to Auto.
"When reprinting (repeat printing) the same
job" on page 70
"Printing from a USB Memory" on page 73
Are you using a USB memory stick with a
slow reading speed?
If you use a USB memory stick with a slow reading
speed (4.63 MB/sec or less) when printing from a
USB memory stick, the print head stops at times
during printing and printing continues. Use a USB
memory stick with a fast reading speed.
