IrDA
Your phone has an infrared inter-
face. The distance between the two
devices must not exceed 30 cm. The
infrared windows in both appliances
must be aligned as accurately as
possible with each other.
IrDA active
Activate/deactivate the infrared
interface.
File location
Select where the files are to be stored
after being transferred via IrDA.

The Bluetooth word mark and logos are
owned by the Bluetooth SIG, Inc. and any
use of such marks by Siemens are under
license. Other trademarks and trade names

Bluetooth is a short-range radio con-
nection by means of which a headset
or car kitor such can be connected
without the need for wires.
Each Bluetooth device has its own
specific address and can be given a
self-explanatory name as an option.
Password protection ensures the se-
curity of a Bluetooth connection, as
does including the BT partner in a list
of "confidential" devices.

If Bluetooth is activated, IrDA
(Infrared) is deactivated and vice
versa.

Search for specific categories of de-
vices or for all Bluetooth devices.
Found devices are displayed in a list

View the list of last 10 connected de-
vices, including those that are current-
ly connected (list options see below).
My BT name
Display your device information. En-
ter Device name:. This is the name the
partner sees. If you give no name,
the phone uses the non-changeable
device address.
Bluetooth visibility
The device address or the

shown to other BT devices when
they request this in order to receive
or send data.
