Cooling the Interior of your X5:
To Get Max Cold:
•
Turn temperature dial
•
Turn the airflow dial
•
Set the fan speed
•
Press the re-circulate button
•
You may alter the temperature, fan speed or vent selection at any time.
Heating the Interior of your X5:
To Get Max Heat:
•
Turn temperature dial
•
Turn the airflow dial
•
Set the fan speed
•
You may alter the temperature, fan speed or vent selection at any time.
To Defrost:
•
Turn temperature dial
•
Set the airflow dial
•
Set the fan speed
•
Switch on rear window defroster
To Keep Windows Free of Condensation:
•
For condensation on the inside of the windows, press the air conditioning
button
and direct the airflow toward the windows.
•
For condensation on the outside of the windows (on hot, humid days), direct
the airflow away from the windows.
To Set the Vent Selections:
•
Use the rotary airflow dial
•
Place the rotary dial in between two settings to direct airflow through more than
one set of vents.
Rotary Temperature Dial (noted in the picture on previous page by the snowflake):
If you have the climate control set to a warm temperature but you would like cooler air
near your face, set this dial in the blue range.The air from these vents is controlled
more by this dial than by the climate control. For warmer air, turn this dial toward red.
