Remote Key Operation:

To Unlock:
•
Press button 1 to unlock drivers door and the fuel door.
•
Press button 1 again to unlock all other doors.
•
This function can be changed by your BMW center so that all doors unlock
simultaneously on the first press of button 1.
To Lock and Arm Alarm:
•
Press button 2.
•
To deactivate the interior motion sensors, press button 2 again immediately after
locking.
To Switch on Interior Lamps from Outside of the Vehicle:
•
After the vehicle is locked wait 10 seconds and then press button 2 again.
To Open all Windows and Sunroof from Outside of the Vehicle:
•
Press and hold button 1.
•
You may also manually do this by putting the key in the keyhole, turn to the left
and hold the key in the "unlock" position.
To Close all Windows and Sunroof from Outside of the Vehicle:
•
Place key in keyhole, turn to the right and hold the key in the "lock" position.
To Open the Tailgate from Outside of the Vehicle:
•
Press button 3.
To Set off the Alarm or"Panic Mode":
•
When car is locked and armed, press and hold button 3 for more than two
seconds.
•
Press button 1 to switch off the alarm.
•
This may open the tailgate so be sure to check it after you switch off the alarm.
