Introduction
The SE-2850 is designed for multi-camera video production. The system
includes a digital video switcher and an additional I/O board, providing the
user with the flexibility to extend the HD/SD-SDI IN from 8 to 12 channels.
Simply insert the upgrade I/O card into the empty slot at the rear of the SE-
2850.

The SE-2850 Upgrade I/O Card includes:

Additional 4 input channels
•
Either 4 additional SDI inputs or 3 additional SDI and 1 HDMI input
Inserting the DV Upgrade I/O Card
The SE-2850 has been designed to allow the Upgrade I/O card to be easily
installed into the system. Follow the steps outlined below to insert the DV
Upgrade I/O Card.
1.
On the rear of the SE-2850 system, locate the unused slot which is
covered by a cover plate.
2.
To remove the cover plate, simply unscrew the screws mounting the
plate.
3.
Insert the Upgrade I/O card into the unused slot and make sure it is fully
inserted into the main board.
4.
After the Upgrade I/O card is installed, secure the card by screwing the
screws removed earlier back in.
