    3. Connect signal cable to the computer . 4. Connect the power cord into the jack of LCD Monitor and plug the other end of power cord into a wall socket. 5. Turn the computer on.

    If you find that any of these items is missing or appears damaged, contact your dealer immediately. Do not throw away the packing material or shipping carton in case you need to ship or store LCD Monitor in the future.

    Even though LCD Monitor has been designed using components that don’t use much power, they still generate quite a bit of heat. Set up your LCD Monitor so that the screen doesn’t face a window where sunlight often comes in. The reflection of sunlight makes LCD Monitor screen difficult to read or view.
  • Page 8 Note, for added protection, we recommend you use a “Surge Protector” device plugged between the AC Adaptor and the electrical wall outlet to prevent the effects of sudden current variations from reaching the LCD Monitor. The sudden peaks of electricity are not good for the Moniotr.

    1) Step 1: Connect the Power Cord into the AC Adaptor. 2) Step 2: Connect the Power Connector cable between the AC Adaptor and the LCD Monitor connector port located on the rear side of the LCD Monitor. 3) Step 3: Plug the Power Cord from the adaptor into an electrical wall outlet.

    CHAPTER 3 Display Controls 3.1 User Controls and Indicator Operation of LCD Monitor is quite simple due to its intuitive, ergonomic design. A description for each of LCD Monitor function controls and indicator is provided below. Figure 3-1 shows the function controls as seen on the front panel of the Monitor.
