    Even though LCD Monitor has been designed using components that don’t use much power, they still generate quite a bit of heat. Set up your LCD Monitor so that the screen doesn’t face a window where sunlight often comes in. The reflection of sunlight makes LCD Monitor screen difficult to read or view.

    LCD Monitor to computer: Turn off your computer and LCD Monitor first. The signal cable is found at the rear side of the LCD Monitor. Connect the signal cable to VGA port on PC. Make sure the connection which you just made are secure.

    LCD Monitor. Connect the power cord into the jack of LCD Monitor. The power jack is located at the rear of the Monitor next to the Monitor’s video port. Plug the other end of the power cord into a wall socket. The plug on the power cable will vary according to the electrical standard for your area.

    Connect the sound cable to the “LINE OUT” jack on your PC’s audio card or on CD ROM drive. Connect the other end of the sound cable to LCD Monitor’s “LINE IN” jack on the back cover of LCD monitor.

    Please refer to Power Management section of Specification on Appendix for power consumption at each different mode. When LCD Monitor is in the power saving mode or detects an incorrect timing, Monitor screen will be blank and power LED indicator shows color in amber.

    CHAPTER 3 Display Controls 3.1 User Controls and Indicator Operation of LCD Monitor is quite simple due to its intuitive, ergonomic design. A description for each of LCD Monitor function controls and indicator is provided below. Figure 3-1 shows the function controls as seen on the front panel of the Monitor.
  • Page 16 Stereo Speakers You can enjoy your PC audio stereo output from these speakers. DC Power Switch Push the power switch to turn Monitor on. Push it again to turn Monitor off. DC Power-On Indicator This LED indicator lights in green color when the power is on and in yellow color when its power is off.
