Section 3: Configuration
If your Internet Service provider only provides you with a dynamic IP address, DDNS allows you to access your camera remotely using a domain
name. To do this, you will need to have an account with one of the DDNS services listed in the drop-down box on this page.
Enable DDNS:
Select this checkbox to enable the DDNS function.
Server Address:
Select your Dynamic DNS provider from the drop-down menu or
enter the server address manually.
Host Name:
Enter the host name of the DDNS server.
User Name:
Enter the user name or e-mail used to connect to your DDNS account.
Password:
Enter the password used to connect to your DDNS account. Enter it
again in the Verify Password field.
Timeout:
Enter the DNS timeout values you wish to use.
Status:
This indicates the connection status, which is automatically
determined by the system.
