2. Repair Instruction

1-Check if ice maker is turned on.
2-Check to see if Freezer Temperature is between 0-5 degrees F.
3-Make sure that the harness in the upper part of the Freezer door is well assembled/connected.
4-Ice maker is properly connected. (Self-Test is working).
5-Check electrical continuity of connection between fill tube heater and harness that leaves the door.
6-Check if there is water under the door or behind the refrigerator (Leaking/Defective hose connections).
7-Check that all wiring harnesses are properly connected to the Main PCB.
8-Change ice maker.
Installation Recommendation/ Repair
-Make sure that the wiring connectors in the upper Door F are reconnected after disconnecting them for
delivery.
*Self test can only be done once every two hours. If necessary to perform self-test again before reaching
the 2 hours, unplug the refrigerator from the electricity and plug back in again.
Make sure that Ice Maker is tuned ON
YES
Check Freezer Temperature, between 0-5 F?

Check harnesses in upper part of
Freezer Door for correct assembly?
YES
Ice Maker is properly connected.
(Self-Test is working)
YES
Check resistance of the fill tube
heater from the harness that leaves
the door.
(Specification 180 Ω±7%).
YES
Is there a water leak under the door
or behind the refrigerator?
YES
Check all the wiring connectors
attached to the Main PCB.
YES
Change Ice Maker

Press and hold the "Ice ON/OFF" button for three

seconds until "Ice On" text is illuminated in display.
Find and correct the cooling issue.

Connect and disconnect harness and be sure

1. Perform ice maker AutoTest.
2. Check for no water.

3.Disconnect hose under door F
(Blue one) and perform auto test again.
4.If AutoTest fails to operate and complete the
cycle, replace Ice Maker
If there is not correct resistance,

the Door has to be replaced.
Reconnect water line hoses under freezer door.
NO
If water line it leaking at water valve, replace it.
NO
Connect and reconnect all connectors on the Main PCB.
