Configuration Options
The FortiWiFi unit requires some basic configuration to add it to your
network. These basic steps include assigning IP addresses, DNS
settings, and the default gateway. Until these steps are completed
traffic will not flow through the device.
You can complete these basic steps using FortiExplorer's built-in
Setup Wizard. The wizard also allows you to change your
administrator password, set your time zone, and adjust security
settings.
Note: If you are unsure of your network settings, contact your
network administrator or internet service provider.
In addition to FortiExplorer, the FortiWiFi unit can be configured using
the Web-based Manager with the method on the following page.
