6.3. Installationsanweisungen für den optionalen Gipsring
Eine optionale Gips-(Schlamm-)Ringhalterung ist von Tannoy erhältlich. Diese Halterung ist für die Vorinstallation in neu konstruierten, nicht abgehängten
Decken vorgesehen.
1. Nageln oder schrauben Sie den Putzring an die Balken. (Abb.1)
2. Verlegen Sie die Lautsprecherkabel an der Stelle, an der der Lautsprecher montiert werden soll, und schließen
Sie die Verputzarbeiten an der Decke ab.
3. Schneiden Sie das Loch in der Decke mit einer Kreissäge aus. (Abb.2)
4. Gehen Sie zu Abschnitt 7 für Anweisungen zur Verdrahtung und kehren Sie dann zu Punkt 5 unten zurück.
5. Schieben Sie die Lautsprecherbaugruppe durch das Loch und drehen Sie die Schrauben, um die Montageflügel
zu verlängern. Ziehen Sie die Schrauben fest, bis Sie einen festen Halt haben.
Wenn Sie einen Leistungstreiber verwenden, Tannoy empfiehlt eine Drehmomenteinstellung von 1,5 Nm. (Abb. 3)

6. Verbinden Sie eine sekundäre Stützleine mit der Sicherheitslasche. Einige Bauvorschriften erfordern die
Verwendung dieses sekundären Stützpunkts, der über eine geeignete Stützlinie mit einem separaten sicheren
Stützpunkt verbunden werden sollte. Konsultieren Sie die Bauvorschriften in Ihrer Region.
7. Setzen Sie das Gitter ein, indem Sie es auf den Lautsprecher drücken. (Abb.4)
7. Wiring and Setting Up
1. Remove the wiring cover at the back of the speaker can to access the Euro-type connector plug and socket.
Feed the cable through the gland and attach the Euro-type connector. (Fig.1)
2. For connection to an amplifier, use Pins 1 and 2 (Fig.2):

• Pin 1 is positive
• Pin 2 is negative
For connection to additional speakers in a distributed line, pins 3 and 4 are in parallel where:
• Pin 3 is negative
• Pin 4 is positive
3. Tighten the cable gland and plug in the Euro-type connector.
Replace the cover and fix using the supplied screws.
THE SPEAKER IS SUPPLIED IN LOW IMPEDANCE MODE. NEVER CONNECT THE SPEAKER TO
A 70/100 VOLT AMPLIFIER WHILE IT IS SET FOR LOW IMPEDANCE.

4. The CVS 4 Micro (EN54) is fitted with a 15 W transformer. When used in distributed-line systems,
the transformer can be tapped at 15 W, 7.5 W and 3.75 W, with an additional
1.9 W tapping for 70 V line systems. (Fig.3)
5. The CVS 4 (EN54) is fitted with a 30 W transformer. When used in distributed-line systems,
the transformer can be tapped at 30 W, 15 W and 7.5 W, with an additional
3.75 W tapping for 70 V line systems. (Fig.4)
6. The CVS 6 (EN54) is fitted with a 60 W transformer. When used in distributed-line systems,

the transformer can be tapped at 60 W, 30 W, and 15 W, with an
additional 7.5 W tapping for 70 V linesystems.
