Flooded Engine
If the engine fails to start after repeated
attempts, it may be flooded with excess fuel.
To clear a flooded engine, turn the engine
stop switch to (OFF) and push the
choke lever down to Fully OFF (C). Open
the throttle fully and crank the engine
several times with the kickstarter. Turn the
engine stop switch to (RUN) and follow
the ''High Air Temperature'' Starting
Procedure (page 42).
How To Stop the Engine
To stop the engine, shift into neutral, turn
the engine stop switch to (OFF).
RUNNING-IN
Help assure your motorcycle's future
reliability and performance by paying extra
attention to how you ride during the first
operating day or 25 km (15 miles).
During this period, avoid full-throttle starts
and rapid acceleration.
