To activate emergency:
Hold down the red button at the top of your radio until you hear the tone or see the emergency status on screen. Responding personnel will receive an alert and attempt to contact you. If you do not respond, resources will be sent to your location.
To clear the emergency status:
Hold down the red button again until the status is cleared from screen.
Where there is no TasGRN coverage, an out of range indicator will display in red on both the top and front displays.

Hold in the PTT button and wait for:
2 high beeps: network connection established talk.
1 low beep: network busy release PTT, wait, and try again.
Note: The top ABC switch can be used as a short cut to select Zones 1 (1 SES STH), 2 (2 SES NTH) or 3 (3 SES NW
Note: The 16 position rotary switch can also be used to select the first 16 channels in the current zone.
