Remove the LCD panel

Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
"Remove the lower case" on page 30
"Remove the LCD module" on page 46
"Remove the hinge caps" on page 48
"Remove the LCD bezel" on page 49
Step 1. Pull out the two pieces of removable tapes (located on left and right edges under the LCD panel)
upwards steadily; with the bottom edge as an axis, lift up the top edge of the LCD panel.
Attention: Do not remove the LCD panel at this step. The LCD panel is connected by a cable at
the back side. Detach the cable before removing the LCD panel.

Step 2. Peel back the tape and disconnect the EDP cable from the LCD panel. Then, remove the LCD
panel.
