OPERATION

Pre-Operation Check

Inspect the watercraft each time before starting and riding to
ensure it is in proper working order. If proper inspection is not
done severe injury or death could result. See page 126 for
additional inspection information.
If you smell fuel in the hull of the craft, do not operate the craft.
Instead, take it to your dealer immediately for inspection.
Before inspection, remove lanyard and lock plate from the engine
stop switch located on the handlebars.
Following is a check list that should be performed before riding the
watercraft. The next few pages contain detailed information regarding
these checks.

Visually inspect for water and drain if

Check fuel/oil; add as necessary;

be sure intake grate is secure; push
rear of watercraft up and down in the
water to flush sand out of water in-
take before starting
