Description and actions
The states of the power LED are as follows:
• Off: No power supply is properly installed, or the LED
itself has failed.
• Flashing rapidly (four times per second): The server
is turned off and is not ready to be turned on. The
power-control button is disabled. This will last
approximately 5 to 10 seconds.
• Flashing slowly (once per second): The server is
turned off and is ready to be turned on. You can press
the power-control button to turn on the server.
• Lit: The server is turned on.
This LED indicates power-on and power-off sequencing.
• LED blinking: The system is functioning properly, and
no action is necessary.
• LED not blinking: (trained technician only) replace the
system board assembly. See "System board assembly
replacement (trained technician only)" in ThinkSystem
SR675 V3 User Guide or ThinkSystem SR675 V3
Hardware Maintenance Guide.
LED on: an error has occurred to the processor the LED
represents.
LED on: an error has occurred to the DIMM the LED
represents.
LED on: an error has occurred to the fan the LED
represents.
LED on: an error has occurred to the PCIe connector the
LED represents. Complete the following steps:
1. Make sure the cable is connected to the appropriate
downstream PCIe riser, drive backplane, or OCP
adapter.
2. Make sure both ends of the cable are securely seated
in the PCIe slots.
3. Replace the cable.
4. (trained technician only) replace the system board
assembly. See "System board replacement (trained
technician only)" in ThinkSystem SR675 V3 User
Guide or ThinkSystem SR675 V3 Hardware
Maintenance Guide.
LED on: an error has occurred to the M.2.
LED on: an error has occurred to the rear PCIe riser 2.
The system CMOS battery is not installed or is not
working.
LED on: an error has occurred to the system board
assembly. Complete the following steps:
1. Check the Lenovo XClarity Controller event log and
the system error log for information about the error.
2. Save the log if necessary, and clear the log afterward.
