About DVD multi drive
The built-in DVD multi drive of the VS-2480DVD will add reading and writing capability for DVD-R/
DVD-RW/CD-R/CD-RW discs to the digital studio workstation.
Various DVD discs can be used for project data backup and recovery on the VS-2480DVD.
Recommended Discs
Use discs that satisfy the following conditions.
Type of Discs

DVD-R
(4.7GB for General)
DVD-RW
(4.7GB for General)
* You cannot use DVD+R discs, DVD+RW discs, and DVD-RAM discs.
* The following two types of DVD-R/RW discs are commercially sold.
For Authoring (for professional/business use)
For General (for private/hobby use)
Discs for Authoring cannot be used on the multi drive of the VS-2480DVD. Please use discs for General.
* If you are using discs from manufacturers not stated above, you may experience errors during writing.
* Two types of DVD-R/RW disc are commercially available; one for "data," the other for "video." The
VS-2480DVD can use either of these types.
