USING THE BLENDER SHAFT

  • Insert the blender shaft (E ) into the base (A), it will click in place
  • The blender shaft is ideal to prepare a wide range of foods including sauces, soups, cocktails, milkshakes, fresh mayonnaise, salad dressings, batters, and baby foods.
  • To avoid splashing, always start with the blender shaft blades immersed in the food, then plug in the blender and press the power button to turn on (B). Use the speed selection dial (C ) to set the desired speed, which will also be displayed on the LC D screen (C 2).
  • For even blending of foods, move the shaft around in a circular motion and raise and lower the shaft blades. After use, unplug the blender, then press the eject button (D) to remove the shaft from the base.

USING THE WHISK

  • Attach the whisk (G) to the whisk attachment (F ), then slide the whisk attachment onto the base (A) until you hear the click. The whisk is ideal to prepare pancake or waffle batters, whip egg whites, or whip cream.

USING THE MINI CHOPPER

Before using the mini chopper:

  • Add food to the bowl, distributing evenly inside the bowl. Replace the bowl lid (I1) and then attach the base to the bowl lid.

The mini chopper accessory is ideal to chop small amounts of herbs, nuts, breadcrumbs, condiments, or meats. For best results, do not fill the bowl more then 2/3 full.

FOR BEST RESULTS

  • To avoid spillage when blending or whipping, do not fill the mini chopper bowl more than 2/3 full. As a minimum, foods should cover the blender shaft blades. Remove bones and cartilage from meats before adding to the bowl.
  • When blending hot foods, always remove the cookware from the heat source then blend off heat.
  • Allow boiling hot foods to cool before adding to the bowl. Do not blend foods or liquids hotter than 175°F.
  • For fibrous foods such as leeks, celery, or asparagus, pause to clean the blender shaft regularly during use.
  • Cut fruits and remove seeds and pits before blending fruits.
  • Do not use to process hard foods such as coffee beans, ice cubes, grains, or chocolate.
  • Do not use the blender shaft or whisk in the mini-chopper bowl.
  • When processing large quantities of foods, process in batches and pause for one minute in between batches to avoid overheating the motor.
