Crusher accessory (according to models)
The accessories contained in the model you have just bought are shown on the label located on the top of the packaging.
When using electrical appliances, always observe the following basic safety instructions:
When blending solid ingredients, first cut them into pieces 2 centimetres long maximum. Always pour liquid ingredients into the glass jug first before adding solid ingredients without exceeding the maximum level indicated:
To add ingredients once mixing has started, remove the measuring cap from the lid and introduce them through the filling hole in the lid.
If ingredients remain stuck to the sides of the jug during mixing, stop the appliance and disconnect it.
Remove the mixer jug assembly from the body of the appliance.
Use a spatula to bring the preparation down onto the knife. NEVER put hands or fingers into the glass jug or close to the blade.
Before using your KRUPS blender for the first time, clean the lid, the jug, the measuring cap and crusher accessory (according to model) with warm soapy water to remove any dust left by the packaging.
Rinse and dry them thoroughly.
Never immerse the body of the appliance and never put it under running water.
Assembling the glass jug:
Make certain that the glass jug is correctly screwed into its base.
Note: To ensure maximum safety, the base alone cannot run the appliance. For operation, the glass jug must first be assembled.

Crusher accessory (according to models)
You can use the crusher accessory to chop coriander, pepper, Cayenne pepper, dried apricots, etc. in just a few seconds.
You can use the crusher accessory to process 60g of dried apricots in 10 seconds maximum at speed
Do not use this setting for liquid preparations.
If the model you have just bought does not include the crusher accessory, you can purchase it from a KRUPS authorised service centre.

GUACAMOLE | Put all the ingredients into the jug starting with the liquids and run until everything is chopped. You can switch to the function for a few seconds at the end of preparation to make the mix more even. | |
COFFEE, CHOCOLATE, VANILLA, ETC. MILK-SHAKES | Put all the ingredients into the jug and run until you obtain an even, frothy mix. Best results are obtained with 1/2 l of cold milk. As the preparation will increase in volume during mixing, use at most 1 litre of milk. | |
MAYONNAISE egg, mustard, vinegar or lemon juice, salt, oil | Put the egg, mustard, vinegar or lemon juice and salt into the jug. Add the volume of a measuring cap of oil (75 ml). Run until the mayonnaise thickens. Add the rest of the oil (200 ml) in small quantities. To avoid splashing, stop the appliance whenever you add more oil. | |
JUICE MADE FROM FROZEN FRUIT | Put the block of frozen fruit juice and recommended volume of water into the blender jug. Run for a few seconds. To avoid froth foaming, do not mix for too long. | |
INSTANT PREPARATIONS FOR DIETS, POWDERED MILK SWEETS, ETC. | Put all the ingredients into the jug and run for 10 to 15s maximum to smooth the preparation. You can also use the "Vari-Pulse" function to limit the formation of froth. | |
VINAIGRETTES | Start by roughly chopping the hard ingredients and herbs, using the function, then add the rest of the ingredients and run for 15 to 20s. To avoid splashing, the liquid to be mixed should cover the knife blade (about 250ml). |
Always make certain the KRUPS blender is disconnected before cleaning.
Thoroughly wash the glass jug and its various components (see diagram) in hot soapy water and rinse with plenty of water.
Do not use scouring pads that are likely to scratch the material.
Rinse and dry each component thoroughly.
You can wash the glass jug, plastic base with stainless steel blades and the body of the accessory in the dishwasher. First disassemble the parts to load them into the dishwasher separately.
Handle blades with great care as they are extremely sharp and can cause injury.
Clean the body of the appliance with a damp cloth.
Never immerse the body of the appliance in water and do not put it under running water.
