SYMPTOM
Display blank, Transmit Neon
not flashing, transducer not

Faulty EEPrOM memory chip
Incorrect measurement stabiliza-

Transducer beam obstructed,

Incorrect Empty (zero) reference
Incorrect Sound Velocity used for
distance calculation
True echo too weak or wrong

ACTION
Check power supply, wiring and
voltage selection switch.
Clean enclosure "docking bay" and
programmer magnet slot.
Repair or replace as necessary.
Connect transducer, or remove
Point # from service (P001=0).
Repair or replace as necessary.
Reverse BLK and WHT wires.
Enter correct value.
Relocate and / or reaim trans-
ducer at material level or object.
Proceed to "Measurement Diffi-
culties", (following page).
Select larger Units (P005), or
lower Convert Reading (P061).
Return to factory for repair or
replacement.
Alter Measurement Response
(P003) accordingly.
