Sealing the rolling-contact bearings ("Increased degree of protection" option)
Relubricating the grease tank
In order to achieve optimum sealing of the rolling contact bearings and to reliably seal the
labyrinth joints with grease, the chamber must be relubricated at regular intervals. The
procedure is the same as that for lubricating grease. The sealing effect during operation is
optimum as long as a small amount of relatively clean grease is forced out.
Regreasing intervals
The necessary relubrication intervals depend essentially on the level of dirt in the environment
and on the ON time of the motor. For this reason, they can only be defined taking into account
the respective operating conditions. Make sure that the groove in the seal is full of grease at all
times.

Cleaning the cooling air ducts
The cooling ducts must be free of any pollution in order that the machine is adequately cooled.

CAUTION
Used or dried filter mats
Used filter mats can be polluted with hazardous substances or concentrations of
microorganisms that can damage the health. Used filter mats or filter mats that have dried

● Immediately dispose of used or dried filter mats.
● Do not store used filter mats in areas where they can come into contact with fresh filter
mats or can cause health hazards, e.g. in the vicinity of foodstuffs.
