Transmission (Main Gearcase)
Oil Check
The fluid check/fill plug is located on the rear of the gearcase. Maintain the oil level even
with the bottom of the plug hole threads.
1. Position the vehicle on a level surface.
2. Place the transmission in PARK.
3. Remove the check/fill plug. Inspect the oil
level.
4. Add the recommended oil as needed.
5. Reinstall the fill plug. Torque to
specification.
Oil Change
The drain plug is located near the bottom of the
gearcase.
1. Remove the check/fill plug.
2. Place a drain pan under the gearcase.
3. Remove the drain plug. Allow the oil to drain
completely.
4. Clean and reinstall the drain plug. Torque to specification.
5. Add the recommended oil.
6. Reinstall the fill plug. Torque to specification.
7. Check for leaks. Dispose of used oil properly.
