Replace all screws and ensure that no stray screws remain inside your computer. Connect any external devices, peripherals, or cables you removed before working on your computer.

    Procedure Locate the memory modules on your computer. Use your fingertips to carefully spread apart the securing-clips on each end of the memory-module slot until the memory module pops up. Remove the memory module from the memory-module slot.
